Network World Honored with Eight ASBPE Awards
Receives Honorable Mention as 'Magazine of the Year' Based on Continued Editorial Excellence

June 23, 2005 – Southborough, MA – Network World, the leading Network IT media company, announced today that it received five national awards for editorial excellence at the prestigious American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) award ceremony held at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland this week. These awards are in addition to the three regional ASBPE awards the publication won earlier this month.

Network World also received an honorable mention in the Magazine of the Year award category for publications with circulations of 80,000 or more. Five judges selected Network World as the lead runner up from all entries based on excellence in reporting, writing, editing and design, and consistency based on entries of three consecutive issues.

The annual ASBPE awards recognize print editorial and graphics as well publishers’ newsletters and Web sites. With more than 2,600 entries, twice the number of any other national business publication award contest, this year’s competition was extremely competitive.
