DEMO® PARTNER PROGRAM INTRODUCES PRE-QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FIRMS TO THE CHOSEN FEW
Program Designed to Increase Success of Start-ups and New Product Launches

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. – January 11, 2006 – Network World, Inc. announced the creation and launch of the first-of-its-kind Partner Program that exposes eligible professional service organizations to the elite set of 70 companies selected to launch at its DEMO Conference. From public relations firms to venture capitalists and web developers, potential DEMO Partners are accepted based on criteria that includes their prior experience with start-ups, product or company launches and DEMO. Companies who qualify for the DEMO Partner Program receive exposure to the selected DEMO demonstrators before, during and after each conference for a 12-month period.

“We are pleased to be able to offer our demonstrators connections to DEMO Partners who could help them build their businesses before, during and after DEMO,” said Neal Silverman, executive vice president, Network World Live, Events and Executive Forums. “The program is designed to assist demonstrators in developing a short-list of vendors who could help them secure future funding, develop an effective communication strategy or strengthen other aspects of their business.”

“Never before have we met such a pre-qualified group of companies poised for success and all in once place,” said Joshua Kopelman, managing director, First Round Capital and a DEMO Partner. “We recognize the value of being able to connect with such a group of companies, having founded/funded over 20 companies that have launched at DEMO.”

With a 15-year history, DEMO has become known as the premier event for revealing the products and services poised to have the greatest impact on the technology landscape. From hundreds of applications received each year, only 70 companies are selected to present to an audience that consists of the players in a variety of technology sectors. Charter DEMO Partners include Blue Point Venture Marketing, Ceonex Web Development, First Round Capital, PR Newswire Toolkit and Porter Novelli.
