Network World Debuts STAR Report Online Advertisers Benefit from Strategic Campaign Tool
SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. – April 21, 2006 – Network World, Inc. announced a new reporting service for all online advertisers, regardless of program size, that is designed to give busy marketers a detailed view of how their campaigns are performing. In this era of marketing accountability, the Strategic Tabulated Advertising Results (STAR) Report provides a level of insight and knowledge that helps marketers run the most effective online campaigns possible. Phase I begins with reports to marketers and agencies with banner ad programs running on NetworkWorld.com or ads in Network World’s e-mail newsletters, which span some 50 topics ranging from High Speed LANs to Network Optimization to Security. Phase II STAR Reports, rolling out over the next few months, will incorporate the rest of Network World’s online products, which include a White Paper Program, Executive Guides, Webcasts and more. “Knowledge is power in advertising and our customers want to know how well their programs are performing,” said Evilee Ebb, CEO and publisher. “Today’s marketers are held accountable for the dollars they are spending, and we’re determined to make life easier for them.” The easy-to-read, time-saving STAR report will be in addition to weekly leads for advertisers who have lead-generating programs. Advertisers will be able to work with their Network World sales representative to optimize their program accordingly, making the best use of their advertising dollars. “Network World has always differentiated itself with going above and beyond expected levels of service,” continued Ebb. “With our STAR reports, we’re able to help our advertisers and their agencies communicate results to their respective companies on a regular basis in a clear and concise format. During our test phase, advertisers were impressed with the extra level of service they received from us and the intelligence it provided.” For more information on advertising on NetworkWorld.com, contact Susan Cardoza, Associate Publisher, Online, at scardoza@nww.com or 508.490.6473.
