Logo Use and Quotes

guidelines for promoting recognitions awarded by network world

If you or your client were honored with Clear Choice or Cool Tools vendor recognitions or an end-user award such as Best of the Tests, we encourage you to promote the achievement by including the appropriate logo from the listings below on print advertisements, product packaging, sales or marketing collateral and on your Web site.

Quoting Network World

When quoting content from Network World on your Web site or in your press release, please include a link to the Network World Web site with the words "For the full Network World article..." and the exact URL. Include the boilerplate when quoting Network World in press releases: The URL must open into a full (non-framed) browser window and Include the original story headline.

You may post a short summary of a Network World story (one or two sentences) on your Web site along with the link to the full article.

Logo Usage Guidelines

The Network World corporate, product line and editorial award logos are available for your use on print materials (collateral and print advertisements), and on the Web. These logos are intended to help you promote or reference your company's relationship with Network World.

In using any of these logos, you agree to the following prescribed logo usage:

  • Logo will not be altered in any way except for size and will not include additional shadows, lines, boxes or other effects.

  • ONE COLOR: Entire logo is 100% black
  • 4 COLOR: "Network" = 100% Cyan, 40% Magenta 0% Yellow, 0% Black; "World" = 100% Black; Rule = 0% Cyan, 100% Magenta, 100% Yellow,
    20% Black

    To download images for use in print or on the Web:

    • Window users: Right click on an image or link and select "Save target as..." to save a copy of the file.
    • Mac Users: Click and hold an image or link and select "Save this image as..." to save a copy of the file.
    • Downloading eps Files: While downloading an eps file, Internet Explorer drops the 'e' from 'eps' in the file name. In the Save As box, manually insert the 'e' in the file name before clicking Save.
