Description: I am a major fan of tiny PCs – but the really small micro PCs, such as OQO and FlipStart, are just too small, and also a bit pricey. The U810, a bit larger and looking like a shrunken notebook, is delightfully mobile even if it won’t fit in a coat pocket. It’s a full tablet PC with a 40GB hard drive, a 5.6-inch 1024 by 600 display, 802.11a/b/g wireless, and a surprisingly usable keyboard with built-in cursor control (although you can use a stylus as well). And all of this is a pound and a half. You can even get it with XP if you’re not ready for Vista.
OK, I might not want to use the U810 as my only PC, but it should be terrific for anyone who travels a lot. And boy, I want one. Yes, a VGA / Ethernet adapter is included, for those who need to connect to larger monitors or a wired network connection.
