Description: This is the Swiss Army knife of iPod boomboxes. Along with the usual built-in iPod port/charger and stereo speakers, the iMep3 features a 7-inch LCD screen, CD/DVD player, integrated NTSC TV tuner, AM / FM radio tuner, USB port, and support for SD, MultiMedia Card, and MemoryStick Flash memory cards. Notably, you'll also find optical and coaxial digital audio outs alongside the typical composite video output, as well as a connection for the included external television antenna. One other unique feature is the light absorbing technology (LAT) of the matte black finish, which significantly reduces glare.
The Achilles' heel of the iMep3 is the poorly located iPod dock, which puts your precious iPod squarely in the path of the handle, so you can’t carry it with your iPod attached.
If you’re heading to the mountain cabin or the beach and want one media device to watch/listen to all your MP3s, CDs, DVDs, AM/FM radio shows and TV shows, this is the device to take with you.
We're a bit concerned with product availability, at the time of production all versions of the device (there are three separate version) were on back order at the company's Web site.
