The Knozall Systems, Inc. application AutomationWizard 5 can satisfy all of the requirements outlined in your request. AutomationWizard agents support NetWare 3-4-5, Win NT/95/98/2000 and communicate via IP, so IP must be enabled for agent communications.
Checking the status of every device on the network When loaded our agent can monitor individual devices on each computer. All device errors recorded into NT event logs, and other forms of alerts can generate responses. A database can be maintained to reflect the current status and report any changes to a central location. Sending alerts via page or email An Alert can put a chain of events in to action that could first attempt to alert a local technician via Audio alert messages, pop up dialog boxes, network messaging, or even by flashing the keyboard lights. In the case that no response is received in a number of seconds or minutes it may initiate a pager, send an email to an individual or to a group and attaching the DRWatson log or other relevant diagnostic information, if no response AutomationWizard could initiate a preset set of instructions to address the problem. Monitoring Intranet and Internet servers Because our agents communicate over IP any agent with an IP connection can send or receive instructions from other AutomationWizard agents. When an agent is behind a Firewall it may require an agent to be loaded on the Firewall server to act as a bridge to secure agents on those servers. Also AutomationWizard agents can receive and send instructions from other agents via email as well. Monitor routers, Switches, Firewalls, RAS, RADIUS, Web, SMTP/Pop3, DNS servers and NT functions As long as an IP connection or email is available the status of a server could be evaluated and transferred to a central location for further evaluation. We have a full set of Email, FTP, and RAS commands to respond to most any condition. Allow Variable Monitoring priorities for critical and non-critical functions Upper and lower thresholds can be set for any monitoring activity. For example a lower priority activity may only run when the number of server connections are below 10 and/or the average utilization is less than %20 for 10 min while a high priority activity may disable network logins, or terminate non-critical applications or services. Immediate Alert Notification Email, pager, dialog boxes, or audio alerts may be sent to an individual or group can be configured for immediate notification of alert conditions. Launching custom applications in response to any condition AutomationWizard agents support absolute or relative mouse control, window controls to minimize or resize a window, ability to take a BMP snapshot of a screen, full keyboard control including any key combinations, react to application feedback and allow conditional actions to be preformed, sending commands to other agents to exit an application such as a database before continuing. Detailed activity logs Logging of AutomationWizard job activity is customizable to include successful or unsuccessful file transfers, retrieve information from NT event viewer, search through other activity logs and reporting errors, if a scripting error is detected a full report including a pointer to the error is provided, two levels of debug information are also available for AutomationWizard scripts. AutomationWizard's capability to read e-mail provides the ability to take action based on e-mail messages received.RFP and responses from other vendors
