We installed SilverBack's InfoCare 3.5 CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) on our lab's six segment Fast Ethernet network. Each segment consisted of a server and several clients along with SNMP-manageable switch, router, DSU/CSU and an SNMP-manageable hardware probe. To access the InfoCare Web-based user interface, we used Internet Explorer 6.0, with ActiveX, Java and JavaScript support enabled and most security features disabled.
