Re: The First rule ofBy Anonymous on April 14, 2008, 3:39 pmI agree completely, the great ones take longer. The algorithm in the BES encryption used by DreamStream.info took 20 years to create. A lot of the algorithm's being promoted by some of these companies are less than 5 years old and follow same principles as the current RSA or similar private/public key algorithm's on the market. It's time to think completely out of the box.

I think you missed oneBy Anonymous on April 8, 2008, 12:25 pmDreamStream.info this is a newer company but they hold the strongest encryption with the easiest portability on the market. My Record label is using them in our media platform. It is a 2048 bit encryption that was created by one of the scientist who create the RSA encryption. Some big named backers are funding this company! They seem to be doing it under the radar!
The first rule ofBy Anonymous on April 13, 2008, 6:21 pmThe first rule of cryptography is never trust the latest and greatest encryption algorithm. Even more so when it is not open and fully audited. It takes on average 5-10 years for a good encryption algorithm to be created.
The other first rule of cryptography is...By Anonymous on February 3, 2009, 11:12 amNo, its not that you never talk about cryptology, it is that cryptology only buys you time. Cryptology is a piece of security that can be layered with the rest of a security plan. Really really good crypto will simply take really good intelligence to crack. But it will crack. Just a thought.
