realBy clarkntl on November 13, 2009, 2:14 amThe best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life's plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.
thanks.very helpful.By sunnyjiao on October 26, 2009, 6:37 amThis will be extremely useful in researching a property before scheduling a consultation, or evaluating a property that might be from 100 to several thousand miles away, when visiting the property personally would be extremely difficult or expensive. Thanks for sharing it.

Artificial Intelligent Search EngineBy Anonymous on June 29, 2008, 9:44 amA company called FSuzion at:
http://www.fsuzion.com
has developed an intelligent search engine that researches any property in the US and reads millions of records including such things as business payroll records within a certain radius of the property.
The results obtained will then be applied to a formula to give a pretty accurate resolution of that property's Quality of Life. The benefit is obvious. You will be able to establish a Quality of Life baseline value on any property without having to personally visit the property first. This will be extremely useful in researching a property before scheduling a consultation, or evaluating a property that might be from 100 to several thousand miles away, when visiting the property personally would be extremely difficult or expensive.
Using Chat Bots for teachingBy Anonymous on June 29, 2008, 9:28 amThere is a whole family of AI Chat Bots being used to teach the ancient science of Feng Shui. Visitors to any of the sites can carry on a conversation about just about anything, or query the Bot about anything to do with Feng Shui and it will give them advise. The site is www.jademarkethongkong.com.
There is also a Geography Professor in Hong Kong that is developing a Chat Bot that will be used to teach students about Geography. The Chat Bot doesn't yet have the Geography knowledge base installed but does have conversational abilities AND the Bot avatar is made into the likeness of the Professor. You can see it at: http://dryyyan.com/
A few things you left outBy Anonymous on June 25, 2008, 2:41 pmA few things you left out were defining the fine line between an expert system like the robotic surgery tool and AI based systems that make predictive decisions. Companies like Fair Isaac www.fairisaac.com developed the credit score (now known as the FICO score) back in 1956 to help lenders predict credit worthiness of borrowers on home loans when millions of GI's came back after WWII wishing to buy homes. Other uses of AI put to use in the financial services industry since 1992 to combat credit card fraud and debit card fraud by detecting fraudulent transactions to reduce losses by the issuing Financial Institution were first built by HNC software (later acquired by Fair Isaac) led by the noted AI researcher and University of California, San Diego professor Robert Hecht Nielsen.
What about the HondaBy Anonymous on June 24, 2008, 8:24 pmWhat about the Honda Asimo?
Most of your AI examples are still future and speculative, and as always, the question about a mechanical arm can be, "OK it's cute, but what's so AI about it?"
Needs somethingBy Anonymous on June 24, 2008, 8:58 amYou may want to go back and add some description of each of the usages of AI. Picture may be worth 1,000 words; but, a short description to be sure the reader (viewer) is on the right page may help.
