Street CredsBy Anonymous on June 15, 2009, 11:53 amThe only one with integrity is Steve Jobs. They sell their products directly to customers and continue to do well in spite of the economy. The rest of the Leviathans live in the parasitic corporate world. Verizon, AT&T, IBM, HP....simply exist because, in the words of the administration because they are too big to fail. To say nothing for their customer service (ATT/Verizon), once you become an annuity locked in by contract, your voice doesn't matter. They are included in this list by the fawning media who hope to carve out some advertising dollars for their upcoming quarter.
Cynical? Yes, especially about the latter bit. I do believe Jobs is the best leader out of all these clowns. He's been at it the longest and has changed the way people use and view technology. It's quite a bit different between being the first and most dominant O/S on the market and trying to pass off version iteration as innovation. Jobs has put his money where his mouth is and delivered. Great vision, great team and without all the mgmt overhead.
