2010's 25 Geekiest 25th AnniversariesBy Anonymous on September 30, 2009, 3:43 pmWe anxiously await the 2010 list. *PLEASE* try to include an actual date, not just the year. How are us geeks suppose to celebrate each anniversary if we don't have an actual date? You can do better! You should really also have a 50th Anniversary list!
MissingBy Anonymous on January 28, 2009, 11:11 amHow about Apple's legendary 1984 commercial? Come on, only shown once and it cost that much? Got to be worth a mention
Big BrotherBy Anonymous on January 28, 2009, 10:47 amHow about the 25th anniversary of Orwell's 1984, (OK it was published in 1949, but give me a little slack here), and still we stumble ever closer to an omnipresent surveillance society and the newspeak of political correctness.
BetamaxBy Stargzer on January 22, 2009, 5:38 pmI had a friend who said the best thing you could do with a Betamax was to hook it up to your stereo system and use it as a tape recorder. You got better fidelity with the Betamax audio format than you could ever get from any other tape system. I had an old VHS HiFi recorder that also had an audio-only input so you could record FM-stereo for 6 hours if you wanted to record a concert.
