BetamaxBy Stargzer on January 22, 2009, 5:38 pmI had a friend who said the best thing you could do with a Betamax was to hook it up to your stereo system and use it as a tape recorder. You got better fidelity with the Betamax audio format than you could ever get from any other tape system. I had an old VHS HiFi recorder that also had an audio-only input so you could record FM-stereo for 6 hours if you wanted to record a concert.
