Finally, a useful BBerry App!By Anonymous on April 15, 2009, 2:45 pmYou folks are fixating on all the wrong apps.... A portable bartender guide; now that is and important app for anyone who has been in IT over 30 years! And if you have quesitons, their customer support responds very quickly!
The app I'm looking for...By Anonymous on April 15, 2009, 11:36 am... is the BB equivilent of Task Manager, so I can see what applications I accidently left running in the background when I switch back and forth.
Stupid article that is a waste of time.By Anonymous on April 14, 2009, 6:05 pmWTF Chuck?!? Games?
This is just the beginningBy Anonymous on April 14, 2009, 5:08 pmThe Blackberry and the IPhone will be the two premiere 3rd party application pltforms of the future.
File exploring and printing from your BlackBerryBy Anonymous on April 14, 2009, 3:55 pmSometimes being able to search and download files from corporate files and then being able to print selected documents is incredibly useful. Check out www.lifecyclemobility.com
BBerry App WorldBy Anonymous on April 14, 2009, 3:47 pmI like Poynt - useful for finding movies and theaters near you. It uses your GPS to search so you'll need to make sure it's enabled on your hand held. It's FREE. Also, Slacker Internet radio. Lots of genres and it's also FREE. Be sure to review through the Category list on your hand help for more apps.
Serious mobile IT appsBy Anonymous on April 14, 2009, 1:27 pmA lot of these were fun. I particularly liked the Intercall Mobile Assistant. It is such a pain to try and remember access codes or toggle between Blackberry screens when you are late for or just got dropped from a conference call. But if IT pros are actually looking to get work done they may want to look at a new and rapidly emerging breed of SaaS IT management applications. These Net-native apps are typically built for mobile browser access...the Salesforce.com mobile interface is a good example for CRM. Service-now.com is a good example of a modern IT service desk app. Easily manage incidents, problems and changes while away from your desk. Try it now, no registration required. Just point your mobile device browser to http://demo.service-now.com Rhett Service-now.com

A real listBy Anonymous on September 3, 2009, 8:01 pmI try out a LOT of apps for Blackberry and from a productivity state these are by far most useful: Poynt Google Maps DocstoGo Premium For those needing remore connectivity Rove Mobile Admin is the best - it's not cheap ($500) but allows unlimited server connections for the license. So anyone with a large infra to oversee it's worth it's weight x2.
IT Pro Apps I'm Looking ForBy Anonymous on August 20, 2009, 7:36 pmI'm looking at the BlackBerry and Pre since I can't afford the AT&T iPhone plan. What I need are tools that allow me to connect to my network remotely and run SQL queries or remote desktop. Does anyone know of anything close?
Mostly uselessBy Anonymous on August 18, 2009, 9:57 amUnless you're traveling and living out of a suitcase, most of the apps mentioned are fairly useless. Come on! If I want to play games, I have a 17" laptop with me most of the time, a 19" WS desktop and a 47" LCD at the house. Why in the world would I play games on a flippin' BB?!? The most useful apps would be ones that make use of the Internet easier; ones that make sending/receiving email easier; apps like Facebook, GoogleApps -- and ones that help with actual phone calls. The rest is just wasting time and space.
TodoMatrixBy Anonymous on May 29, 2009, 7:43 pmThanks for mentioning TodoMatrix in the article. However, you got the price wrong - TodoMatrix is $59.99 on BlackBerry App World (not $19.99). The REX guys
