7 will close the window on snow leopardBy Anonymous on September 1, 2009, 6:07 pmMac had a once in a lifetime opportunity to unseat windows due to the quality gap between OSX and vista. That opportunity is gone. Its back to the niche play for the Mac. This xmas season - which will bring a slew of cool looking 7 PCs from hungry PC OEMs will nail the coffin.
Ridiculously large Icons - ahahahahBy Anonymous on September 15, 2009, 11:45 amDunno about the Mac, but those were around in Vista, too. Fun way to make coworkers doubletake: click on your desktop, then hold Ctrl- and scroll your mouse. That makes the ridiculously large icons as large as they'll get :-)
Code size, response time...By lolit on September 4, 2009, 1:21 pmFeatures, smeachers…. what about performance and code optimization. I use Windows for work and Mac for my personal computer. What's the performance improvement between the two? My work computers a dog, my Mac is fast, but I still get impatient.
FUDBy Anonymous on September 4, 2009, 9:21 amSince Windows began these articles are slated toward Microsoft. Microsoft has people whose job has been to work with the staff. Windows 7 is clearly an improvement but under the covers you still have to deal with viruses, security nightmares, and so on. Features are great but at the end of the day what annoys the hell you about an OS.
As documents, etc. move toward the web how much are you going to be reliant on all MS
' s nifty features? In the end the desktop you run is becoming irrelevant unless you are a PC manufacturer and you need a replacement for Vista that does not sell.

BiasBy Anonymous on September 2, 2009, 3:36 amMuch of this article is written to show that Snow Leopard lacks features found in Windows.
