Not all Intel's latest chips have VT (virtualization) embedded - crazy when you think that Windows 7 Pro rerquires it for XP mode etc. To make matters worse some chips in a range have VT and others dont - example on the E7400 range there are 3 sub-groups, two of which don't have VT and one which does. Similarly the E8300 has the same problem.
Makes life for system builders difficult - what on earth made them do this, as usually when you purchase a new chip one asks for the E7400, E8300 without having to ensure we get the right classification, thats if the vendor themselves understands the issue!!
