Description: If you take lots of photos, whether you're a point-and-shoot soccer parent, or a semi-professional (or full professional) photographer, the Epson Multimedia Photo Viewers are a great way to back up, store and view images with a larger screen than the display on the camera.

With its Premia LCD technology, the device can show more than 16.7 million colors, giving you the best color accuracy around. An 80GB hard drive lets you store thousands of photos instantly by transferring from your media card to the device. In addition, you can copy movie (MP4 format) and music files from a PC to the device via USB, letting you turn this into a video and music player as well. The P-6000 is now 35% faster in download speeds than previous models, and now includes longer battery life.

It was very easy to navigate around the interface, and copying files from an SD card onto the drive was easy to do. Once on the drive, you can do some simple photo editing of the files, basic color, brightness and contrast adjustments. Sadly, no red-eye reduction features, which most of my photos really need.

The best use for this device (if you're not a semi-professional or professional photographer) would be to use as a backup hard drive for those times when you're on vacation and need to copy a bunch of photos from the digital camera card onto another device. With its brilliant color screen, it's cooler to see the photos on a larger and brighter screen than trying to crowd around the tinier screen on a digital camera.
