Description: You wouldn't think that guys in their 30s would enjoy a video game that makes the player mimic the movements of an on-screen cheerleader, but somehow We Cheer does exactly that. The game is so addicting for players of all ages (so much that my friend's 6-year-old wants it for Christmas and it's only one of two things she's currently asking Santa for). The mimicking occurs by players using their remotes to repeat the action of the cheerleaders on the screen.
The game comes with several unlocked stages that include multiple hip-shaking songs (including C+C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat", which got stuck in my head for days). If you clear certain stages, more songs are unlocked. Each stage has easy-to-hard songs with the number of moves and combinations increasing with each song. This is a great way to work up a sweat and have fun at the same time.
If you have four remotes, you can do a Cheer Off against an opponent, making it even more impressive to see two middle-aged guys doing their best cheerleader impression.
