A software integrator working with the open source application SugarCRM, a rival of Salesforce.com, has come up with an online calculator that compares the costs of the two CRM software offerings.
The integrator is Corra Technologies, Montclair, N.J. The calculator is intended, and perhaps designed, to show that SugarCRM, using a variety of opensource components has a lower total cost of ownership compared to the hosted Salesforce.com suite.
