Adesso launches cool wireless keyboards

Peripheral manufacturer Adesso this week launched a new line of wireless keyboards that include either 2.4 GHz or infrared technologies to help users "cut the cord". The keyboards are aimed at multimedia PC, conference rooms, mobile workers, workgroups and modern office settings, the company said.
The WKB-4000 SlimTouch mini keyboard (pictured) includes the 2.4 GHz technology, an integrated touchpad, and fits more in line with contemporary PC systems and flat LCD monitors (nothing like a beautiful monitor and an ugly keyboard). The $129.99 keyboard includes a USB mini-receiver that plugs into the notebook or PC to provide connectivity up to 20 feet, Adesso says.
The WKB-2000 also has 2.4 GHz connectivity, and includes an integrated trackball. The $79.99 keyboard also features an embedded numeric keypad and 12 function keys. The ACK-571BP and ACK-573PB models are designed for Windows PCs, and include wireless infrared input. The 571PB includes a built-in cursor control disc for 8-way cursor control, and costs $59.99. The 573PB is the same model, but with a built-in trackball for $69.99.
