Network World Fusion, 08/30/02

Epson America recently launched the Epson Stylus C62 -- a sub-$100 ink jet printer that replaces the Stylus C60. The printer will cost $79 (after a $20 mail-in rebate), Epson says.

EpsonC62 (8k image)The printer, which is Windows and Macintosh compatible, uses Epson technology called Resolution Performance Management. This lets the printer place up to six different ink droplet sizes, Epson says. The printer can product up to 14 pages per minute of black output, and 10 pages per minute in color. USB and parallel port connections are available.

For more information on the printer, go to Epson's Web site.

I have purchased an epson c62 and I have had nothing but problems. When I call ed for support the people at the other end couldn't hear me.
I haven't been able to finish my projects because it doesn't let you print more that 3 pages. After that I will get a quarter of it on the next page it is printing. I have re-installed programs and changed my files into other programs to see if it is on the computer. Could it be the graphics are to high a resolution? Anyway I am ready to throw it out the window, because epson is definetely getting richer on ink sales with me.
Hope you can help but i have my doubts about this one. Time to go back to canon I guess! Thanks for listening.
