MicronPC recently announced two new desktop systems, one for the business market and one for gamers or digital video enthusiasts. The ClientPro 325 is the new business desktop, and the Millennia TS2 is the higher-end gaming model.
The ClientPro 325 features either a 2.4GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor or a 1.7GHz Intel Celeron processor, depending on whether customers want a performance version or a value version, the company says.
The ClientPro 325 performance edition starts at $1,399 and features the 2.4GHz processor, 256M bytes of DDR SDRAM, a 20G-byte hard drive, 64M byte NVIDIA GeForce4 AGP graphics card, a 10/100 Ethernet port, CD-RW drive, and runs on Windows XP Professional. The value edition starts at $799 and features the Celeron processor at 1.7GHz, includes 128M bytes of DDR SDRAM, a 20G-byte hard drive, Intel Extreme graphics card, 10/100 Ethernet port, 52x CD-ROM dirve, and runs on Windows XP Professional.

The Millennia TS2 model can reach processor speeds up to 2.53GHz, MicronPC says. The model that starts at $2,899 features the Intel Pentium 4 processor at 2.53GHz, 512M bytes of PC2100 DDR SDRAM, a 240G-byte hard drive (actually two 120G-byte hard drives), an integrated ATA-100 IDE RAID Controller, a DVD-R/RW combination drive, a Studio DV 1394 Firewire Video Editing software, 128M-byte DDR NVIDIA GeForce4 TI4600 AGP graphics card with TV-out and digital video inputs, Windows XP Home edition, six-channel premium surround audio, 10/100 Ethernet port, and an Altec Lansing ADA885 5.1 Dolby digital speaker system.
