Nextel gets "style" with new i30sx phone

Nextel and Motorola recently announced the i30sx mobile phone, a $50 phone that offers some higher-end features. The new lightweight phones also have interchangeable faceplates, something usually not found on a Nextel phone.

The phone has Nextel's Direct Connect, two-way radio service, wireless Internet service and Two-Way Messaging features, as well as:
The phone weighs 5 oz., and measures 5 by 2 by 1-inches. The standard battery offers up to 165 minutes of talk time and up to 75 hours of standby time. The maximum capacity battery offers up to 270 minutes of talk time and 125 hours of standby time.
