Kodak launches new "lifestyle camera"

Eastman Kodak Co. today launched the special edition Kodak EasyShare LS420 digital camera, a 2.1 megapixel camera weiging in at 5.5 oz. and costing $299. Availability of the camera will be late April, according to the company.

The camera comes with a docking station, Kodak Picture Software, a carrying case and rechargeable battery case. The LS420 can take prints of up to 8 by 10 inches with its 3x digital zoom, all-glass lens. The camera also has a new "night shot" mode for taking pictures at night.

The camera comes with 8M bytes of internal memory, and has a MultiMediaCard / SecureDigital (SD) expansion slot for more memory. For more information on the camera, go to www.kodak.com.
