New Kodak digital camera has Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens

Kodak recently announced its LS443 Zoom Digital Camera, a 4.0 megapixel resolution digital camera. Kodak has also included a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens on the LS443, which includes a 3x optical lens capability. The camera has a 10x zoom capability (3x optical lens with 3.3x digital zoom). The camera includes a new special-edition dock, and will be available in October for $499.95.

Kodak LS443 digital cameraThe camera includes a 1.8-inch indoor/outdoor LCD screen, an on-camera 'share' button for quick printing, e-mailing and organizing. The dock allows one-touch picture transfer, and fast recharging of the camera's lithium-ion battery. The camera comes with 16M bytes of internal memory, and has a memory expansion slot.
