Xerox Corp. yesterday launched a new color printer, the Xerox Phaser 7300 tabloid color printer, a workgroup printer that Xerox says can produce 30 pages per minute in color and 37 ppm in black-and-white. The printer will cost $3,499, Xerox said.
The Phaser 7300 includes a 500 MHz processor and can print up to 2,400 dpi resolution. Other features include Xerox's Smart Trays technology, which automatically displays the type of media in each of the printer's paper trays. The Phaser 7300 can print on different media, including office paper, labels, transparencies and customized media up to 12-inches by 36-inches, Xerox says. Bundled software for setup, installation and maintenance is included. Go to the Xerox
Web site for more details.
