Network World Fusion, 11/13/02

M-Systems recently announced DiskOnKey Pro, the latest version of its portable flash keychain storage products. The new design comes in a smaller form factor, roughly have the size of the original DiskOnKey design.

DiskOnKeyPro.jpgThe DiskOnKey Pro is three inches in length, and with the cap removed it measures 2.5 inches, M-Systems said. The device has a moveable keychain fob that lets the owner decide which section they would like to attach to their keychain -- the cap or the body. The device has the power of a 32-bit ARM7 processor, and includes security automatic boot, logon and personalization software from M-Systems.

The DiskOnKey Pro devices will be available in 16M-, 32M-, 64M- and 128M-byte models initially, M-Systems said. The 256M- and 512M-byte versions will be made available later. Prices range from $35 (for the 16M-byte model) up to $115 (for the 128M-byte model). For more information, go to the DiskOnKey Web site.
