Anycom announced shipments of its "WireFree" Bluetooth headset, the AHS-10. The AHS-10 costs $79 and is available at the Anycom Web site.
The AHS-10 can communicate wirelessly with mobile phones, mobile computers and other portable handheld devices that are Bluetooth-enabled. The range of the headset is 10 meters (33 feet). Anycom says that line of sight is not needed, so the headset can be used through walls and floors.
A single button on the headset lets users make and receive phone calls, control the volume and activate voice control. A LED gives readiness conditions of the headset, and informs the user about battery charging status. Anycom says the headset provides up to 72 hours of stand-by time or up to three hours of talk time on a fully charged battery. Anycom says the headset is compatible with any Bluetooth mobile phones that support the headset profile, or other devices that support the profile.
For more information on the product, check out the AHS-10 Web site.
Back to Cool ToolsI bought the Anycom AHS-10 five days ago and love it. The device is very lightweight and really easy to use and pair with my SonyEricsson T68i. Talktime is great, battery life in standby very good and quality of speech excelent. I use it constantly with my T68i and it is a dream when driving. Great value for the price!
