MicronPC today launched the ClientPro 125 desktop PC, aimed at business and government users in managed environments. The base price of the ClientPro 125 starts at $599, MicronPC said. MicronPC also announced the ClientPro 325, a mainstream system that features an Intel Pentium 4 processor and DDR DRAM memory, and the ClientPro 525, which includes the Pentium 4 processors and RDRAM.
The ClientPro 125 includes an Intel Celeron processor at 1.8GHz, and includes 128M bytes of DDR SDRAM, a 20G-byte ATA-100 hard drive, a 52x-speed CD-ROM drive, integrated 10/100 Ethernet card, four PCI slots for expansion and four USB 2.0 ports. The system comes with Windows XP Professional.
MicronPC also offers extended coverage (purchase up to five years of coverage including parts replacement, technical support and on-site service), and a PC recycling service, which lets customers recycle any brand of outdated computer equipment using EPA-approved standards. MicronPC said the customer's hard drives are completely destroyed or cleansed of data using industry-leading practices.
