Sharp Systems of America this week announced a 20.1-inch LCD flat-panel monitor, the LL-T2020.
The 20.1-inch UXGA monitor is being targeted at professional imaging applications, such as health care, computer-aided design (CAD), and digital imaging, Sharp said. It can display 1.9 megapixels (1,600 by 1200) and about 16.77 million colors (Sharp says that's 64 times the colors displayable by a conventional LCD panel).
The LL-T2020 has a 25-millisecond response time, and has a wide viewing angle of 170 degrees in both the horizontal and vertical viewing positions, Sharp says. It comes with two DVI-I connectors, and can accept input from up to four computers. Each DVI-I connector can be either an analog or digital signal. The monitor costs $1,999, and is available through Sharp resellers or direct from Sharp's Web site.
