Plus Vision Corp. of America recently announced a new version of its 2-lb. projector line. The new V-1100 is an XGA resolution (1,024 by 768 pixel) projector that has 1,000 lumens of brightness and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio. The company said it uses Texas Instruments' 0.7-inch DDR Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology.
