BlackBerry 6510 available through Nextel

Nextel Partners Inc. and Research in Motion today announced availability of the BlackBerry 6510 Wireless Handheld device to Nextel's midsize market customers. The 6510 is the first BlackBerry device to feature Nextel's Direct Connect feature, a digital "walkie-talkie." Other features include a cell phone, organizer and "always on" access to corporate e-mail and data.
The device runs on Nextel's 2.5G packet data network. Other services available include Nextel Online wireless Web and SMS service, Nextel said. The device costs $499.99 (introductory price), Nextel said. For more information, go to the Nextel/BlackBerry Web site.
