Audiovox and AirPrime announced a new wireless PC Card capable of accessing the CDMA2000 1x RTT network (CDMA 1x for short) in North America.

The Type II PC Card will be avaible in Q2 20003, under different product names, including the Audiovox 1xMC PC Card, the company said. The company is also looking to sell the card to CDMA carriers to provide their customers with high-speed wireless data access. Go to the Audiovox Web site or the AirPrime Web site for more details.
