Network World Fusion, 11/03/03

Veo-760V_fv.jpgVeo today launched a 1.3 megapixel camera attached to a Secure Digital I/O card that lets Pocket PC devices snap digital photos. The newest Photo Traveler 130S, which costs $99.99, can store JPEG photos on the device, or print 3- by 5-inch photos directly from the Pocket PC. Earlier versions of the Photo Traveler device included a VGA (640 by 480 pixel resolution) camera, which limited the print size and quality.

The device will be available in mid-November, Veo said. It includes a manual focus ring, and can also capture short video clips. The Photo Traveler 130S works with the Dell Axim X3, Toshiba E400 and E800, and other Pocket PC devices, both with the Pocket PC 2002 or 2003 operating systems.

For more details, go to the Veo Web site.
