Network World Fusion, 12/15/03

Contour Design recently announced its NoteRiser device, which lets a notebook user position the computer for "optimal ergonomic integrity." The goal of the device is to minimize (and possibly eliminate) the risk of back and neck pain associated with the positions used when typing on a notebook, the company said. The NoteRiser costs $129.95 -- more information is available at the Contour Design Web site.

NoteRiserUp.jpgThe NoteRiser is made of an aluminum alloy, measures 11.8- by 10.63-inches, and flattens out to about 1/6th of an inch, Contour Design said. The company recommended that users use the NoteRiser with an external keyboard.
