StereoGraphics Corp. today launched a new desktop LCD monitor with the ability to display three-dimensional images without users needing to wear those wacky 3-D glasses.
The SynthaGram 204 Desktop LCD will be marketed for companies looking to use the monitor for advertising, retail and trade show uses. The 20-inch LCD monitor costs $4,764 (now available), so unless you're a wealthy executive don't expect to see this on your desk at work any time soon.
The monitor has a 1,600 by 1,200 pixel resolution, and can also automatically transition between 2-D (DVD quality) and 3-D images, the company said. Go to the StereoGraphics Web site for more details on the company and its other monitors.
