Minolta this week launched a new digital camera, the DiMAGE Xt Biz, which lets professionals perform annotation to their photos that prove their legitimacy.

Minolta-DiMAGEXt_Hor.jpgIn conjunction with bundled software from Minolta (DiMAGE Biz Software), if one pixel is changed on a photograph, a warning appears. Minolta said the camera would be aimed at professionals such as law enforcement, real estate, insurance, etc. The camera lets users to highlight specific details on a recorded image, and then add extra images or voice memos (up to 10 total per image) as a reference or comments to the original image, Minolta said.

The camera itself is a 3.2 megapixel digital camera, and features a 3x optical zoom lens and a 4x digital zoom lens. The camera measures 3.4- by 2.6- by 0.8-inches, and weighs 4.2 oz., the company added. Pricing an availability were not announced. Go to the Minolta Web site for more details.
