Minolta this week launched a new digital camera, the DiMAGE Xt Biz, which lets professionals perform annotation to their photos that prove their legitimacy.
In conjunction with bundled software from Minolta (DiMAGE Biz Software), if one pixel is changed on a photograph, a warning appears. Minolta said the camera would be aimed at professionals such as law enforcement, real estate, insurance, etc. The camera lets users to highlight specific details on a recorded image, and then add extra images or voice memos (up to 10 total per image) as a reference or comments to the original image, Minolta said.
The camera itself is a 3.2 megapixel digital camera, and features a 3x optical zoom lens and a 4x digital zoom lens. The camera measures 3.4- by 2.6- by 0.8-inches, and weighs 4.2 oz., the company added. Pricing an availability were not announced. Go to the Minolta Web site for more details.
