HP this week launched a new desktop PC, the HP Business Desktop d325 slim tower, aimed at small and midsize businesses (SMB) as well as public sector users.
The d325 includes AMD Athlon XP processors, and NVIDIA GeForce4 MX graphics cards, and has a compact design aimed at maximizing space in smaller environments. The d325 starts at $599 for the following configuration – AMD Athlon XP 2400+ processor (2.0GHz), 40G-byte hard drive, 256M-bytes of DDR SDRAM, a 48x-speed CD-ROM drive, six USB 2.0 ports and Windows XP Professional.
Customization options include going up to a 160G-byte hard drive, up to 2G-bytes of SDRAM and upgrading to a 48x-speed CD-RW/DVD-ROM combination drive. The d325 is available now from HP or resellers. Go to HP’s Web site for more information.
