It's a digital camera! It's an MP3 player! It's a voice recorder! It's a movie recorder!

PanasonicSV-AV10d-300.jpgActually, Panasonic's new SV-AS10 D-Snap SD is all four devices. The SV-AS10 includes a 2.0 megapixel digital camera, a QuickTime video recorder, an MP3 music player and a digital voice recorder. All of this in a device that measures only 4 1/8 inches by 2 inches by 0.33 inches thick. The device costs $299.95 and will be available in October in three different color choices (metallic blue, silver or copper).

Multimedia files are stored on the device on a Secure Digital Memory Card, Panasonic said. The device produces JPEG images in either Fine or Standard mode with a variety of different image sizes, the company added. A "Burst Shooting" mode lets users take "fast action" at three frames per second. Other camera features include a built-in flash, a 10-second self-timer, and a 4x zoom lens. A 270-degree rotating lens allows users to take self portraits easily, Panasonic added.

The music player can play MP3, WMA or AAC music files, which can be transferred from a PC through the SD Jukebox PC Software, Panasonic said. Click here for the press release.
