Today is Intel’s “One Unwired Day,” the day in which thousands of wireless LAN hot spots are being offered free to the public to get them to try out life without being connected to a wire.
Intel says that more than 5,500 locations are available, in places such as hotels, restaurants, coffee houses, retail stores and airports. For a list of locations, click here.
If you happen to be in New York, Chicago, Seattle or San Francisco, there are even more events planned at “One Unwired Day” festivals.
