As part of its iTunes for Windows announcement yesterday, Apple also announced a new promotion (begins in February 2004) with Pepsi-Cola North America to give away 100 million free songs.
The soda bottler is putting random winning codes on the bottle caps of 20-oz. and 1-liter bottles of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Sierra Mist. If you have a winning code, you can go to Apple's iTunes Music Store and get a free song from the library of more than 400,000 songs.
Apple said the promotion will kick off with a Super Bowl ad, so I'm sure you'll be hearing much, much more about this next year.
Back to Cool ToolsWhy do I have to provide credit card information to participate in the 1 in 3 Wins a FREE Song on iTunes?
