Princeton Digital today announced its new SENergy 914, a 19-inch LCD monitor that includes three different input methods (one DVI-D input and two analog RGB inputs). The monitor costs $699.99 and will begin shipping in March, the company said.

PrincetonDigital-SENergy914.jpgThe SENergy 914 supports a 1,280 by 1,024 native resolution, a front/back tilt, height stand (pivot upgradeable) and a slim bezel design that can accommodate dual display desktops, the company said. Other features include a 170-degree viewing angle, a 700:1 contrast ratio, a 25 msec response time, support for 16.7 million colors (24-bit), and a 300 nit brightness. The monitor includes a Kensington Security Slot, and has a three-year limited warranty.

For more details on the monitor, go to the Princeton Digital Web site.

I AM 72 YEARS OLD AND JUST PURCHASED ONE PRINCETON DIGITAL MONITOR #VL1916. MY PC IS RELATIVELY NEW SPECIAL ORDER AND HAS ALWAYS WORKED GREAT. BUT I WANTED A SMALLER FOOT PRINT AND A LARGER SCREEN SO I PURCHASED ONE OF YOUR MONITORS. NOW IT WORKS GREAT EXCEPT IT WILL NOT PLAY MY DVD'S. I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING THAT I CAN AND I AM ABOUT READY TO GIVE UP AND RETURN THIS MONITOR AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE.

ANY SUGGESTIONS.

The monitor has NOTHING to do with your DVD not working. The problem is on your computer. Find out what is causing the problem on your computer,
and your problem will be solved!

I have been using a Princeton LCD DPP500 monitor for a few years, it recently went black. I was told it was a dead back light. Do you sell this item?
