Network World Fusion, 03/26/04

Sharp Systems of America this week launched the LL-T15G4, a 15-inch XGA LCD monitor (supports 1,024 by 768 resolution) that includes both analog and digital video input (DVI-D) to let users connect two computers to the same monitor.

Sharp-LLT15G4B.jpgThe LL-T15G4 has a 260-nit brightness level, a 350:1 contrast ratio and a viewing angle of 160 degrees horizontally and 135 degrees vertically. The monitor includes an "office mode" setting that lets users lower the brightness of the unit and reduce power consumption to 18 watts. The monitor also has a "vivid mode" for viewing photo-realistic images, Sharp says. Other features include a digital scaling feature (expands images displayed at less than XGA to full screen), and a backlight with about 50,000 hours of life.

The monitor comes in black or ivory, includes a wall and arm mount, and will cost about $400. Go to the Sharp Web site for more details.
