Toshiba's Digital Products Division today launched two new notebooks aimed at small- and midsize businesses. The Satellite A70 Series and A60 Series are nowe available through Toshiba's distribution channels and VARs, as well as two of it's online Web sites -- Sales Channel and Toshiba Direct. Both models include built-in Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), 10/100 Ethernet or a V.92 modem.
The A70 Series runs on a Mobile Intel Pentium 4 processor 532 that supports Hyper-Threading Technology, includes a 15.4-inch wide-screen display (1,280 by 800 resolution) for viewing multiple documents or DVD movies.
The A60 Series is meant more of a first-time notebook purchase, and includes a Mobile Intel Pentium 4 processor 518, 256M bytes of PC2700 memory, a 15-inch display and ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP graphics processor.
