Linksys and Vonage this week announced the availability of a new 802.11g wireless LAN router that also includes two phone ports for conducting Voice over IP telephone calls. The WRT54GP2 is bundled with Vonage's VoIP service, and costs about $120.
The Wireless-G Broadband Router includes an 802.11g access pint, a 4-port switch to connect devices via Ethernet; a router that lets the entire network through a single cable or DSL connection; and the two telephone ports for VoIP.
Other Linksys/Vonage bundles on the VoIP front include the Phone Adapter with 2-Phone Ports (PAP2) and the Router with 2-Phone Ports (RT31P2). Head to the Vonage or Linksys Web sites for more details.
