Commerce One's exit call

E-procurement pioneer Commerce One plans to sell its supplier relationship management division and some of its other assets to an investment group, the sinking company revealed in a document filed recently with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The news follows a slew of layoffs, asset sales and dwindling funds from the once high-flying company.
