IronPort Systems has announced a new version of its e-mail security appliance able to process up to one million messages per hour, and says Amazon will use the new product to help protect its users from phishing attacks. Called the X1000, IronPort’s latest appliance includes Yahoo’s Domain Key technology to authenticate e-mail senders.
