Aspect enhances self-service software

Aspect Communications is adding support for emerging VoiceXML technology to the latest version of its Customer Self Service software. The technology supports speech-enabled dial-by-name capabilities, thereby eliminating the need for a live operator to route calls within a business. The software is geared toward companies that run call centers to support their Web sites.
