VeriSign Buys Weblogs.com

Blogging is continuing its shift from the fringes to the mainstream, with enterprise software and services supplier VeriSign snapping up a key infrastructure that supports bloggers. VeriSign has agreed to pay $2.3 million for Weblogs.com, which has 2 million pings daily.
