Sonic Foundry banks another $6 million

Sonic Foundry completed the sale of its entertainment-related business to Deluxe Media Services, giving the company $5.6 million in capital. If you're keeping score at home, Sonic Foundry has amassed around $24 million between the sale of the entertainment group and its desktop editing tools group to Sony Pictures Digital. The company plans to use the capital to keep the company running and forge ahead with its flagship product, MediaSite Live.
