Big two lead the way

One interesting stat that came out of this morning's keynote is the marketshare of the two leaders in videoconferencing (Polycom and Tandberg). In 2000, the two leaders accounted for 70% of the marketshare. Today, they account for 83% of the market. Andrew Davis thinks there will be three vendors sharing the majority of the videoconferencing pie and it will be a good thing for users.
There will be a high level of interoperability because all three vendors will have significant share and will make sure their features and functions will interoperate with the others.
